House Standards
Applies to every member, every site, every district
Short version: treat other members the way you would want to be treated, and don't do anything here you would be ashamed to have your name attached to. Your name is attached to it.
The basic rules
- No abuse of another member, mental or physical.Harassment, threats, intimidation, coercion, stalking, and sustained cruelty are all abuse.
- Nothing illegal. If it breaks the law where you are or where we are, it doesn't happen here.
- No explicit material on the open network. Public profiles, galleries, districts, and network sites are all open network.
- Nothing sexual involving minors, ever, in any form. This is reported to the authorities and the account is closed permanently. There is no appeal, no second look, and no circumstance in which it is treated as anything less than what it is.
- No unsolicited sexual images. Sending one to a member who did not ask for it is grounds for removal on the first instance.
- Don't impersonate anyone. Your name and your ID are verified for a reason.
- Don't take what isn't yours. Reposting a member's work without permission is theft, and the copyright line under every gallery item is not decorative.
- No scams, no chain schemes, no bulk messaging.
Where members set their own rules
Every profile carries house rules written by that member. They can be stricter than these standards and they hold on their page. Read them before you comment. If a member's rules conflict with these standards, these standards win.
Content that is private by design
Some things on the network are deliberately not public — aThyCV being the clearest case. Private does not mean unregulated. Everything above applies inside a ThyCV exactly as it applies on a public page, and consent, age verification, and the law apply with more force there, not less.
What is shared with you privately stays private. Taking a member's private material and putting it anywhere else is a permanent removal, and depending on what it is, a criminal matter.
Children on this network
Family memberships bring minors onto ThyNetwork. Every member should behave accordingly. Adult-facing features are closed to under-18 accounts by verification, not by an honour system, and any attempt to work around that ends a membership immediately.
Reporting
Every gallery item, profile, and message carries a report control. Reports are read by a person. If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first — we are not a substitute for them.
What happens when a standard is broken
Depending on what happened: the content comes down, the member is warned, features are suspended, or the membership ends. Serious harm to another member skips straight to the end. Where the law requires us to report something, we report it.
If you believe a decision about your account was wrong, file anappeal. A person reads every one.
